Girmer is a peer-to-peer (P2P) payment solution that transforms financial transactions by integrating secure payments with real-time chat capabilities. As the Lead UI Designer and Visual Identity Designer, I played a key role in shaping both the user interface and the overall brand aesthetic to create a cohesive, user-centric experience.
Problem
Girmer, a new peer-to-peer (P2P) payment solution, needed a user interface (UI) that could simplify complex cross-border transactions, particularly for users unfamiliar with payment systems. Additionally, it required a strong, trustworthy visual identity to assure users that their financial transactions were secure and reliable.
Solution
As the Lead UI and Visual Identity Designer on the project, I created a clean and user-centric interface that streamlined cross-border payments, making the process straightforward and secure. The design incorporated smooth navigation and clear icons, ensuring an intuitive experience. The visual identity was carefully crafted to reflect Girmer’s innovative, trustworthy nature, using a modern, minimalist approach to convey professionalism while remaining approachable. This combination of intuitive design and cohesive branding ensured users felt confident and comfortable using the app for their financial transactions.
